Tulsi basil is native to India and has been used as a medicinal plant for centuries. It is commonly made into an herbal tea. The aroma is very distinct and sweet, leaves have an extremely high terpene content. The flowers are a very beautiful pale pink and attract beneficial insects. An excellent medicinal and ornamental plant.
Start indoors or in a greenhouse 4-6 weeks before last frost. Transplant after last frost.
Leaves can be harvested starting 4 to 6 weeks after transplanting.
