Stuttgarter is a German heirloom, yellow type onion. They are a long day variety, and grow well in northern climates. Excellent storage.
Sow early spring when the ground can be worked. Can also be started indoors 10-12 Weeks before last frost for larger transplants.
Harvest bulbs in fall when leaves flop over at the “neck” or top of the bulb.
