Capsicum annuum

Habanada is a sweet type pepper disguised as a hot pepper. They have all the flavor of a habanero, without the heat. Fruiting is prolific but can take a while to yield. Despite their long season, they still do well in northern CT. The fruits have a strong tropical/melon flavor, and turn from a pale yellow/green to orange when fully ripe.

Start indoors or in a greenhouse 8-10 week before last frost date. Transplant after last frost.

Days to maturity after transplant 75-80 green, 110 to orange.

$4 per packet .5g
