A stunning Papaver somniferum variety with massive, deep purple blooms. Plants produce a mix of single and fully doubled flowers, each one large, showy, and irresistibly ornamental. After flowering, they form pods filled with edible seeds. This variety also carries the classic medicinal heritage of somniferum poppies.
Sturdy 2–3′ plants stand tall in the garden and are reliably deer-resistant.
