Keller is a Maryland type of tobacco similar to burley and is air cured. Plants cure best when stalk harvested, but leaves can be harvested (primed) and cured individually. Historically, this type of tobacco was used in pipe blends, cigarettes, and as cigar filler. It also makes a smooth blunt wrapper.

This is a good variety for the first time or novice grower.

Start indoors or in a greenhouse 4-6 weeks before last frost date. Transplant after last frost.
