Yellow Twist Bud is a heirloom burley tobacco which pre dates 1880. Leaves are large, yellow at maturity, and are easy to air cure. Plants can be harvested whole or as individual leaves (primed). This is one of the best varieties for the new grower to start with. Cured leaves can be used as pipe or cigar tobacco, as well as roll your own cigarettes and wraps.

Start indoors or in a greenhouse 4-6 weeks before last frost date. Transplant after last frost.
